Historical resources

The Virtual Historical Collection of the Stadtbibliothek im Bildungscampus Nürnberg (Nuremberg City Library) contains digital copies of historically valuable cultural assets and literature relevant to the study of local history (Norica). Included are public domain manuscripts and prints dating from the 15^th to the 20^th century. The digitization is an ongoing process, therefore digitally available resources will be continuously expanded.

The Housebooks of Nuremberg or The Twelve Brethren books

The "Hausbücher der Nürnberger Zwölfbrüderstiftungen" (Housebooks of Nuremberg or The Twelve Brethren Books) are the most extensive and valuable serial image source on historical crafts in Europe.

Publications of the City of Nuremberg

The Virtual Historical Collection also lists publications from the City of Nuremberg, such as the official journal of the City of Nuremberg. These can be downloaded as PDF.
