How to order:
If you are a registered user (library card required), you may order items from the closed stacks by clicking the button „stack order“
- Manuscripts and prints published prior to 1840 have to be consulted in the special collections reading room
- Publications printed between 1841 and 1900 will be delivered to the main reading room. Please use the field „your message“ if you want to consult such an item in the special collections reading room.
- Prints with a publication year after 1900 circulate. It is usually possible to borrow these items. Please use the field „your message“ if you want to consult such an item in the special collections or in the main reading room.
Please repeat the shelf mark indicated in the upper left hand corner or on the left side of the catalogue card in the field „shelf mark“. If you want to order a specific volume of a periodical, journal or a publication with more than one volume, please add year or number of volume in the field „year / volume“.
If you want to place an interlibrary loan, please contact your home town library.
Delivery times for stack orders
Normally the items will be delivered until 03.00pm of the next working day. You will be informed about the status of your request in your user account (click on "Benutzerkonto"). The items will be kept at reserves for fourteen days.
